Safety

Similar to other sports, jumping on trampolines and using equipment in a trampoline arena can be dangerous. However, by comparison, injury rates at trampoline parks are significantly less than other common sports such as football, swimming and cycling. Furthermore, we have put safety first in park design, feature placement, trampoline sizing, staff training, and arena monitoring.

  • Soft Trampoline Walls

    Outdated trampolines left jumpers exposed to tumbling off onto the ground and it frequently resulted in injuries. We have eliminated this danger by completely surrounding our trampolines with soft but strong, 8-ft-high trampoline walls. These walls are so strong jumpers can bounce off them and back onto the trampoline floor.

  • Safety Netting

    Where the soft, 8-ft-high trampoline walls end, safety netting continues for a distance high enough to contain all jumpers. The safety netting can withstand up to 150 lbs per square inch!

  • Padding

    Our trampolines have no gaps to fall through, nor are there any exposed springs. All steel and springs are covered by several inches of padding.

  • Foam Pit

    Our foam pit provides a soft landing. Jump Marshals are present at all times to ensure foam pit jumpers follow our safety rules. Diving headfirst into the foam pit is strictly prohibited.

  • Inspections

    Our staff performs regular inspections of all components of our trampolines to ensure that everything is always in proper working order.

  • Trained Staff Who Prioritise Your Safety

    We’re extremely proud of our staff at Jump In. Every employee is dedicated to your safety and to providing professional customer service and attention. You’ll find there’s much more to our staff than friendly faces. An ability to enforce our safety rules is a prerequisite to employment. All Jump Marshals are CPR certified, and undergo training including safety, group discussions, and emergency safety drills.

  • Safety Reviews

    While we do absolutely everything we can to prevent them, accidents do happen. We go to great lengths to be prepared to respond quickly and continuously train our staff on safety procedures.

  • High Standards

    Our arena complies with the highest standards and is accredited both by the International Association of Trampoline Parks (“IATP”) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (“ASTM”), a not-for-profit organisation that provides a forum for the development and publication of international voluntary consensus standards for materials, products, systems and services. For your safety, all Jump In visitors are required to follow our rules.

Who can jump

  • Every visitor who jumps on our trampolines must first provide a valid/signed waiver.
  • Those under 18 must have the waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
  • No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol is permitted in the arena.
  • Do not jump if you are pregnant or have other health limitations.
  • You are not able to jump if you have a cast or previous medical injury.

About apparel, accessories, and objects

  • All jumpers are required to wear Grip Socks.
  • Jumpers must wear the valid-coloured wristband at all times during Jumping.
  • No belt buckles, clothing studs, loose jewelry, key chains, or sharp objects are permitted on the trampolines.
  • No glass is permitted on the trampolines.
  • Customers may not have anything in their mouths (gum, sweets, etc.) while on the trampolines.
  • No food or drink is permitted on the trampolines.
  • Customers may not have anything in their pockets while on the trampolines.

While Jumping

  • Do jump within your ability
  • Do jump and land on two feet and never jump or land on the padding.
  • Do try to bring your arms, legs, and head into a ball position if you are falling
  • Do ensure that only one person is Jumping per Jumping surface
  • Do land on the first sidewall adjoining trampoline if bouncing or flipping off the sidewalls
  • Do keep control of your body at all times
  • Do not sit or lie on the trampolines
  • Do not push, wrestle, tackle, run, or race
  • Do not touch, climb, lean, or hang on to any of the top pads or netting inside the trampoline areas
  • Do not ever land on your head
  • Do not double bounce
  • Do not jump with children in your arms
  • Do not attempt double flips or flips or tricks over the pads
  • Do not engage in any offensive behaviour, such as spitting and using profanity
